Elizabeth Brownstein

Post-doctoral Fellow

Elizabeth Brownstein is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Georgetown Law’s Center on National Security. Ms. Brownstein received her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2025, graduating Order of the Coif, and earned her B.A. in International Affairs, summa cum laude, from George Washington University in 2020.

Ms. Brownstein is an expert on national security, emerging technology, and constitutional rights. She has conducted extensive research on foreign intelligence law, biometric collection, and commercial data collection. She is particularly interested in the intersection of First and Fourth Amendments and national security law. She will be part of the core control team for Georgetown’s National Security Crisis Law simulation.
