Katherine Yampolsky
Research Assistant, Center on National Security
Katherine (Kat) Yampolsky is a Research Assistant at the Georgetown Law’s Center on National Security. She is earning her J.D. at Georgetown, having previously graduated with an M.A. in Security Studies from Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service in 2023. Kat also holds a B.A. in Peace, Conflict and Justice studies with a double minor in Italian and Arabic from the University of Toronto (2T1). Kat’s professional and academic interests are deeply rooted in and intertwined with National Security Law, Intelligence Law, emerging technologies, and nation-state threat actors. She previously worked for the Canadian federal government in the strategic intelligence space.
